In recent weeks I got to know three ladies on separate occasions by the name of Lily. What a coincindence! So this design is inspired by lilies, specifically the Spider Lily.

Basella alba 'Rubra' - Ceylon Spinach
These designs were inspired by the Basella alba or Ceylon Spinach that I photographed a few weeks back. I collected the seeds, crushed them and used a Chinese ink brush to make these drawings.

Palm tree
This palm is the inspiration to draw nature in a way that I find thoroughly enjoyable because it allows me to create, it is fast and it brings me to a deeper level of appreciation of nature through the pictures I take.
